Cancellation and Refund Policy

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines and establish procedures for all cancellations, refunds and returns that take place as a result of Sports Coaching Centre programming and events.  

To ensure that workshop cancellations, refund requests, and manual returns are reviewed appropriately and applied consistently throughout the Sports Coaching Centre.  

This policy applies to all who engage in Sports Coaching Centre programming and events. Amendments to this document may be made, when required, by Sports Coaching Centre.  

• Sports Coaching Centre does not cover travel or any other expenses for participants to attend any courses or events outlined in this policy unless communicated otherwise for a particular program.
• Transfers can only be provided between the same format of Sports Coaching Centre-hosted workshop (i.e. Online can only transfer to Online, In-person can only transfer to in-person, etc).
• It is the responsibility of Sports Coaching Centre to notify registered participants and the Coach Developer when a workshop cancels only when Sports Coaching Centre is the host. Sports Coaching Centre reserves the right to collect an administration fee for all refunds as set out in this policy. Otherwise, responsibilities and enforcement are as follows:
• It is the responsibility of the participant to notify Sports Coaching Centre of their cancellation.
• It is the responsibility of the host partner to notify registered participants, the Coach Developer, and Sports Coaching Centre of workshop cancellations.
• It is the responsibility of the Coach Developer to contact Sports Coaching Centre if they are unable to facilitate.

• If there is not a sufficient number enrolled to start a workshop, Sports Coaching Centre will notify the facility/venue, participants and Coach Developer of cancellation.
• If the participant fails to acknowledge cancellation and travels to the workshop, Sports Coaching Centre is not responsible for any related expenses including but not limited to travel expenses.
• Registered participants will be moved to the next available workshop of equal value or given a full refund if they are not able to attend the next available workshop.

In the event that a participant cannot attend an NCCP workshop, notification to Sports Coaching Centre must be provided five (5) business days prior to the start date of the workshop.

Once notice is received, the participant will have three options:

• Be transferred into the same NCCP workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at another time.
• Be transferred into a different NCCP workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at another time and pay the difference if applicable.
• Receive a refund less a $10.00 administration fee.

In the event that a participant cannot attend an NCCP workshop and notification to Sports Coaching Centre is provided less than five (5) business days prior to the start date of the workshop.

Once notice is received, the participant will have three options:

• Be transferred into the same NCCP workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at another time.
• Be transferred into a different NCCP workshop hosted by Sports Coaching Centre at another time and pay the difference if applicable.
• Receive a refund less a $20.00 administration fee.

In the event that a participant cannot attend an NCCP workshop and notification to Sports Coaching Centre is not provided prior to the start date of the workshop.

• No refund will be provided. And all extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

This section does not apply to NCCP Workshops taking place during a Sports Coaching Centre Special Event; please see Sports Coaching Centre Special Event section of this policy for cancellation/refund procedures.

• When notice of cancellation is provided five (5) business days prior to the start date of the workshop, a refund less a $5.00 administration fee will be provided.
• When notice of cancellation is provided less than five (5) business days, a refund less a $25.00 administration fee will be provided.
• When notification to Sports Coaching Centre is not provided prior to the start date of the workshop no refund will be provided. And all extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
• When notice is provided less than five (5) business days including notice not provided prior to the start but provided the day of course or day(s) after course, no transfers will be completed. The cancellation policy will apply and all extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
